Unnecessary presence of hoarding, LED, streetlights not only destroying the artistic beauty of nature but also creating serious health emergency and damage the ecosystem.
For human perspective, light creates anxiety, stress, depression, sleeplessness, mental disbalance and headache. It disrupts the circadian rhythm or the biological clock sets in our body and therefore imposed hormonal disbalance. Recent studies have related light pollution with breast and prostate cancer.
Light pollution particularly threaten nocturnal animals and migratory birds. It compelled the nocturnal animals to stay in a smaller habitat and therefore directly affect their ability to catch/hunt prey. It also disrupt navigation of migratory birds.
